EU Exit

As London's largest and most representative business advocacy organisation, LCCI plays a proactive role in ensuring London businesses get a Brexit that works for them. LCCI’s policy recommendations are evidence-based and underpin our Brexit work in Whitehall and Parliament, City Hall, and with partners across the UK and Europe.

EU Exit

On 31 January 2020, the UK left the European Union

As the Government negotiates our future trading relationships with the EU and other economies, and as it works to implement a new immigration system, LCCI continues to campaign for the interests of the capital’s businesses to central Government, Parliament, the Mayor and London Assembly. LCCI periodically indexes business views and publishes our latest findings and recommendations regarding Brexit on this online resource.

LCCI reaction on Brexit day

For the UK and London to thrive post-Brexit the right onward deal with the EU is imperative, and as we leave the EU today the capital’s businesses are willing and supporting the Government to secure that deal.
